At C4 Hus in Kristianstad, Balustradedesign delivered over 340 metres of aluminium and glass balustrades to a modern housing development comprising 24 terraced homes.

• 342 metres of railing using 144 glass panels and clamp sets

Glass & Clamp Balustrade – Versatile and Modern

Looking for a way to upgrade your wooden railing and open up the view? Replacing timber spindles or cross-sections with clear laminated glass instantly creates a more contemporary and spacious feel. Our clamp systems let you choose from a wide range of bracket shapes and finishes – from sleek stainless steel to coated aluminium – and you can also select from three types of laminated safety glass.

Enhanced Wind Protection

Glass and clamp fittings can also be used to improve wind protection in existing wooden railing systems. In many cases, the timber structure can remain in place while the glass is mounted in front or behind, adding shelter without compromising design.

Suitable for Indoor Use

Glass clamps aren’t just for outdoor balustrades. They’re also ideal for creating modern partitions indoors – for example, between a wooden beam and a wall, or along a staircase.

Safe and Durable Laminated Glass

All our clamp-mounted balustrades use 8.76 mm laminated safety glass with polished edges. Laminated glass is made of two glass layers bonded together with a plastic interlayer. If the glass breaks, the interlayer holds the panel together – increasing both safety and durability.

Choose between clear glass, frosted opal foil, or grey-tinted options. For environments where the balustrade will face repeated external stress, we also offer tempered laminated glass.
