About the Frameless Glass System
Our frameless glass balustrade is one of our most exclusive systems – offering maximum transparency with no vertical posts. The clean design is ideal for projects where unobstructed views and minimalist architecture are a priority.
You can fully customise your frameless balustrade to match the aesthetics and layout of your space. With a choice of mounting methods and glass types, each solution is tailored to your needs.
Mounting Options
We offer three installation methods for our frameless systems:
- Fixpoints – Circular stainless steel point fixings (Ø45 mm) that attach the glass to the outer edge of the floor
- Glass clamps – Each glass panel is fixed with two aluminium clamps, suitable for both top- and side-mounting
- Aluminium base channel – A discreet track that holds the glass panels, installed either on top of or alongside the floor surface
Colour Options – Clamps and Base Channels
Clamps and base channels are available in our standard finishes: natural aluminium, white, black or textured grey. If you choose the channel option, you can also have it powder-coated in any RAL colour. Aluminium handrails, if selected, are colour-matched to the base channel.
Glass Specification
This frameless system uses 12.76 mm laminated and toughened safety glass with polished and ground edges. The laminated design consists of two glass panes bonded with an interlayer film – ensuring that the panel holds together even if broken.
Handrail Options – or None at All
Frameless balustrades can be installed with or without a handrail, depending on the design and function of the space.
If a handrail is required, we offer:
- Aluminium
- Stainless steel
- Hardwood – in oak or teak
Timber and aluminium rails are bonded directly to the glass, while stainless steel versions are fitted with a rubber gasket. If the balustrade is not intended to be leaned on, choosing no handrail at all can enhance the minimalist look. Learn more about our frameless balustrade systems >>
