When we launched our new Swedish website, our plan was also to obtain the Trygg e-handel certification, and now it’s complete. The certification is designed to let consumers know that the store meets a number of established criteria, all of which are intended to ensure a safe e-commerce experience without any surprises.
In practice, this certification has meant that our purchasing terms and our financial status have been reviewed. This will also be monitored on an ongoing basis through random spot checks.
At the time of its launch, the certification was administered by the trade association Svensk Distanshandel (SDh). Today, Svensk Handel is responsible for Trygg E-handel.
