One of the things we’ve been working on since we launched Räckesbutiken is to reduce delivery times as much as possible. We’re now very pleased to be able to offer significantly reduced delivery times on nearly our entire product line.
Move to our new location
The move to our new facilities was the first step in our efforts to reduce lead times. In our 450-square-metre space, we have set up our production with the production flow in mind. Now, the entire production process takes place on different lines and at different stations.
Changes to our ordering system
The next piece of the puzzle was to ensure that our production system could handle the fact that different top rail options require different lead times. For example, if you want a painted aluminium balustrade, we need more time for production. The production system now takes factors such as holidays into account when calculating the delivery date.
Suppliers
The final piece of the puzzle was getting our suppliers on board with our new delivery times. This was finalized just a few days ago.
We are now ready to accept orders and deliver them in significantly shorter time frames. For our aluminium balustrade and our stainless railings, as well as for glass and glass clamps, current delivery times are 10 days. For handrails , we offer delivery in 3 days. As for our post-free railing, we are still limited to a 42-day delivery time for the time being.
If the workload and order volume become too high, we will adjust delivery times, but we will do our best to avoid this as much as possible.
